To adore the Lord is to have a personal relationship with him. Worship is derived from the Greek word PROSCUNEO, which means to bow down and acknowledge God’s power and authority. Worship is the act of submitting to God’s power and authority, of respecting, honouring, and elevating him. Example Symbol of Worship: The 24 elders lay their crowns at the feet of God, implying that the glory is nothing but God’s glory, and they declare what God is: “You are holy, holy.” Revelation 4:10-11. Worship is when you enter into intimacy with God. God descends into your life, and when God descends into your life during worship, God begins to do the work. What causes God to come down? It’s intimacy. Man forgets himself; man prostrates himself, and God appears in man. The enemies begin to flee from you; all that has made war on you begins to flee. Worship does not mean only singing. Worship is something deep, something that goes beyond singing. Worship begins in our hearts, fills our minds, thoughts, and then manifests itself in our actions. In other words, it is the expression of our hearts through our mouths John 4:24-. When God descends into your life, your enemies scatter because God is sovereign, he reigns above all things. In other words, your enemies will come on one path, but they will scatter on many paths. God will make your enemies walk. Deuteronomy 28:7-
